Thank you for letting us know. We will miss his reviews. He inspired me to read books I wouldn't have attempted without his suggestion.

You may want to add this information to his profile box. Just a suggestion. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a valuable member of GR, and I'll really miss his voice.
My condolences. I enjoyed his reviews and loved the fact that he would respond to comments with suggestions and jokes. He was very intelligent, and thanks to him I have many books added to my pile. Thank you Kevin. RIP.
May you find a sunny spot to curl up on and read many good tales on the other side. You will be missed.
I'm heartbroken to see that Kevin has passed away. He was a dear friend within this community, and I will miss his presence, his beautiful mind and curious personality.
He had the best sense of humor and appreciate everything he ever did for me back when we use to be co-workers. It was truly a privilege to have him as a friend. It’s a shocking blow since he’s not on social media and I stick to my own books and what not. No more pain buddy, always the Kevinator.
I've missed so much on this site lately and am just now finding out that Kevin has passed. I will truly miss his wit and compassion and quest to learn more about the world and the people in it, particularly those that have been marginalized. A true heart of gold!
I'm so sorry to learn of Kevin's passing. I enjoyed discussing books with him over the years. We shared a lot of the same view. I'll miss his entertaining reviews and his sense of humor.
Thank you for sharing this information. I have been missing Kevin‘s posts and was concerned, but had no way of knowing. Although I never met Kevin in the flesh, I actually considered him a good friend. We shared many thoughts, insights, and opinions on the GR format and found common ground (I also grew up in Oklahoma and studied anthropology in college) and found common cause with Kevin. He was brilliant, but humble, and funny but serious in his worldview and his commitment to truth. In a world that needs more people like Kevin, his loss is tragic. I am deeply saddened that I won’t be reading more of his reviews and thoughtful comments, but glad for the contributions he made. To his family and friends, I can only offer my most sincere condolences. Thank you, Kevin, for your life and your GR friendship.
Deep condolences to Kevin's family, for their great loss. I hope you are supporting each other, and gaining some solace from happy memories and also by knowing how many other lives Kevin touched. I only knew Kevin through GoodReads, but in every exchange, he was erudite, empathetic, and entertaining.
(I realised I hadn't seen his reviews in my feed lately, but didn't think much of it, as the algorithms are so flaky these days.)
Oh no, I am so sorry! I just left a comment under a review. I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier and give my sincerest condolences. Kevin was a wonderful friend here and I am staggered by this loss. I am bawling my eyes out. I wish you all love and peace and to share how wonderful it was to know Kevin, if only online.
