Tbh tho is this the beauty Dostoyevsky is seeking
basically, he set himself on this mission to create this very perfect, positively altruistic person. But the point is the guy is thrown into a society that concerns itself with greed and other human foibles. And what should be treated as sacredness is only ridiculed
