Don't be lulled by the title or cover into thinking this is a good versus evil fantasy romp. It's got more grey than a wintery English sky! Morally dubious, self-serving, questionable motives with surprising acts of bravery and cruelty are far more interesting to read than one-dimensional good and bad guys.
