Consumerism is the thing that i think we all suffer from ?
Personally I suffer from it greatly, buying stuff just cause i can and mostly if i think of it , I don't need it?
Buying new brands ,New make up products. New books even that I didn't finish the ones i have yet. This all goes hand in hand with capitalism
From 1/12 I generally stopped this to a huge degree and I'm proud of myself

Makes me feel like the author is an atheist cus he makes it sound religious people can't be scientists? And that if they are scientist then their inventions are nothing special and big like the none-religious scientists?
