The antagonist In my book is the Mom. She wants her child to feel better and to not be sick. She would usually do lots of stuff for the girl like feeding her, sending her to the doctors, and buying medication to help with her disease. She also sets up a GoFundMe and a YouTube account to show and tell what happened with her sick child. They are making lots of money to help with her sickness. she will do anything.

The inciting incident in the book Remedy by Eireann Corrigan is when Mrs. Barnes was driving up to her house because she wanted to say hi to the girl that was really sick. She didn't get to see her until she left and she saw the girl waving out of her window dragging herself. She was really shocked that someone really cared for her except her mom and her friend Xavier and she felt really good about Mrs Barnes coming.

The supporting character that this book has is the girls friend Xavier. He helps her by getting her medicine and likes being her friend. The girl is also the guys tutor. They help each other throughout the way and they like being their friend and the mom does too. The mom helps her throughout this sick journey and she respects that so much that she is her mom and she is so glad to have her as her mom in her sick life.

I Vizualize a scene when Cara Jean was helping her friend Xavier with studying and her Mom was giving them some snacks while working. I can visualize that because I really thought about it and I see what is happening in my mind and I can see where they are what what they look like. This is the scene I have most visualized out of this book so far that I have read.

This reminds me of a time when I was really sick and I needed a lot of help with medicine and I couldnt't stop sneezing and coughing. I also had a stuffed nose which made it really hard to breathe out of my nose and it made me only able to breathe out of my mouth. Just like the girl in this book who is also really sick and needs help and medicine to help heal her body and let her be in good shape.

The girl in this book says "Mom" a lot and so that is what I know she says.
The girl feels sick and she is trying to get better
The girl does tutoring with this guy Xavier and she tutors him
the girl thinks that she does not need to be pretty and she just wants to get better and not be sick anymore
This shows that she is a calm girl who doesn't really care what people think of her and she really loves her mom.

1 question I have while I read this book is what sickness does she have all this time? Another question is why Is she always so tired but so determined in her hospital bed? Lastly, why can't doctors cure this disease. Is this because they don;t have a lot of money or they just can't find a cure to help her.

In my opinion I think that the main character in my book is static because in this book, She has been sick for the whole time of this book and she has not gotten any better. But so far she is static but when the book ends, she can change into dynamic because she probably has gotten pills or something. But so far she is static, not dynamic.

The conflict of this book is character vs self because she has a sickness in her body and she has no cure to this horrible sickness and she is skipping school because she doesn't want anybody else to get sick but if she skips one more day she will have to start the same grade over again but she wants to go to another grade so she will have to go to school everyday until school is over.
