I hate this whole domination-struggle nonsense between male characters who are lovers. Wtf. "Pleasure and pain became almost the same thing when they were this aroused" - oh that bodes well for our heroine???

Commander Trenzent is of course Captain Picard, and the Hive is the Borg. Great.

Ah, now I understand the "political rant" complaints from other reviewers. Once again, this author happily falls into the trap of trying to explain Earth and all its cultures in 10 pages. I beg of you... stop.........

For the love of god, if you're going to write sci fi, at least DO YOUR EFFING RESEARCH. My head hurts from reading so much nonsense. Please, please, have mercy on your more educated readers....
