No, a judge is mainly supposed to evaluate literature - otherwise, we could just make Putin or the Pope or Joe Rogan a Booker judge, that would certainly draw attention as well. And with all due respect, to call SJP a "literary critic" and invite her to judge for one of the most important literary prizes in the world seems quite bizarre to me.
