Book 3: Suzanna’s Stockings - Cathy Lamb. Abandoning at chapter 5. Could be quite entertaining but a bit too lusty, busty, and saucy for me. Reads like one of the old soap operas I was never allowed to watch. 😉. Moving on to book 4.

Book 2: a high kicking Christmas - Marie Bostwick. Delightful, fun, engaging if a bit predictable in the end. I’m still acquainting myself with this author but so far so good.

Book 2: A high kicking Christmas-Marie Bostwick. Just finished chapter 1 and already engaged and want to play hooky from my chores to read more. Surprised due to content. Not a surprise as I just finished another full novel by this author and Almost delayed my annual Christmas reading to read the sequel to Cobbled Quilt series. I was delighted to find this short Christmas story by her.

Book 1: Comfort and Joy-Fern Michaels. Dialogue was cumbersome. With only 5 characters it should be easy enough to tell who is speaking or to whom one is speaking with out the constant use of names in every exchange. Predictable and not quite plausible as written.

Book 1: Comfort and Joy - Fern Michaels. Author was recommended by someone who enjoys reading. Thought I would try out a shorter story to get a taste of her writing style and see if interested in exploring further. Based on this small morsel I’d say no - not interested. Heavily skimmed last half of book. Story could be good if better written.
