I've read a lot of Gunpowder Plot books over the years, and I don't recall Throckmorton being one of the actual conspirators.

This reads more like a study of the Stuarts as a family and how their family dynamics were also politically charged rather than a biography of Henry. I'd always been under the impression that he died prior to the Gunpowder Plot because he so rarely gets discussed, and his views on things barely get discussed here. He is overshadowed by everyone else in his own biography.

Who edited this? The grammar is a mess.

I love how she leaves out that James VI's father was found supposedly strangled in the garden not in bed and leaves out that the house was blown up.
