This is SO incredibly interesting. As I think about UT higher ed debating “needless” general education courses & possibly dropping them, I descend into sadness. What happened to learning & a desire for knowledge? Yes, there is different kinds of knowledge, but basic knowledge feels necessary for understanding & expanding the mind across disciplines.
