While I am enjoying a window into the world of Dutch church history, I'm a little disappointed with this work in a few areas. It lacks citations (both primary and secondary) for the amount of claims that are made. Additionally, the author appears to misunderstand and mischaracterizes certain areas of theology and church history that I am more familiar with. Pronk also is not afraid to inject his opinions.
