I am pretty used to GR glitches, but this is ridiculous. I am only receiving about 25% of my GR friends updates in my feed, which just happens to exclude most of my longest and most active friends here-- Carol., Nataliya, Craig, Jamie, Jack Tripper, Mike and many others. This has been going on for months now. WTF? Is GR actually trying to break up the reader community here? Is anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, haven't tried to quantify it, but definitely noticing an absence of some friends in my feed and intermittent posts from others.

Same situation with my account, Phil! I have only been a gr member since Feb 2024. Some reviews and comments from friends added in the past couple months will appear in my homepage feed, but friends added back in Feb, March, April are not showing up at all. I have to go into each individual friend's acct to look at their reviews and comments....uncommonly cumbersome for our ever 'improving' 21st century technology 🧚♀️🙋🏼!
I have been doing the same thing with individual friends-- so frustrating! This is supposed to be a social media site, you know, one that keeps you in touch with what your friends are up to.
My feed has never shown ALL my friends, but it’s been worse than ever lately. Also, I’m not getting notified when someone comments on my reviews, either. I’d read that it helps if you make certain people “top friends”, but I think all my friends are under “top” and it would take forever to change it now. I might have to though.
Yeah, just the absence of e-mail (and sometimes GR) notifications for the past few months has dampened my enthusiasm for the site a bit. Like Jack, I don't seem to get notified of review comments unless I specifically click the little box underneath. Which is fine I guess as far as new reviews go, but it kills the potential for ongoing conversations about older reviews.I was never able to discern any rhyme or reason behind whose reviews I was shown in my feed and whose I wasn't. I don't have a huge list of friends though, so maybe I can go through them and designate "top friends", then let you guys know how that works out.
I've noticed it too. To the point I've wondered if I've been unfriended by some of my older connections.
Fairly new to gr here, joined in Feb 2024. Agree with Mike, abysmal platform performance after recent 'updates' have also dampened my enthusiasm for this site. I'm looking for a book enthusiasts platform other than gr to go to. Does anyone have experience with other platforms? Any recommendations/caveats? Thanks so much 🧚♀️🙋🏼.
