Love how Clapton’s publicist “accidentally” caught onto the fact that he tended to chameleon himself to become those he was close to- likely as a result of being rejected early in life by his mother, which made his desire for an identity something that drove his friendships for much of his adult life.

Enjoyed hearing the Harrison side of how he first met Patti Boyd when both were very young- she said no at first because she had a boyfriend, who she later dumped to go to dinner with George (and a chaperone) days afterward. So, maybe people should lay off Clapton for going on to steal Patti from George later on…George did it first!

💕Loved the part where Clapton is quoted as saying that listening to the blues for the first time was like coming home- that he had heard that music in another life. 🎸 🎶
