have you ever thought about how this book is written in a way that after you finish the story, you don't remember the details, but you remember the idea of it and that every time you reread it feels like a déjà vu? because i have and it feels like being stabbed in the heart 1714 times.

“because happiness is brief and history is lasting, and in the end, everyone wants to be remembered”

hits harder than a train. ve schwab is the greatest author of all time, and fight me if i’m wrong.

this book. this writing. there are no words to describe how ve schwab makes me feel while reading this book. always a hit, never a miss.
