I am pretty sure I’ve read Marlee Wray before and enjoyed her writing. Maybe it was her sci-fi stuff.
But i think i also started the first book in this series many years ago (before i was on goodreads) and DNF. Can’t remember why.
Giving it another shot here. I like the characters so far, but also hate flashbacks. If the story starts five years ago, then start the book five years ago.
