I’m struggling to read this as the protagonist is shunting between idiot and ignorant. I’m literally having to take breaks to try and push through in the hope common sense prevails. I’m all about character growth, but when lead females continue to make the same mistakes it kills my soul and makes for pointless reading. Please tell me it gets better.
