John Peckham's contribution to the theodicy questions has got to be the "Rules of Engagement" (it just rolls off off the tongue). It has changed the way I look at reality and personal suffering! (Michael Bergman & Daniel Howard-Snyder came up with some similar).

Honestly great book to read. I think it's John's writing style that makes it enjoyable. His command of the English language is remarkable–creating a hunger to read on!
