I don't audiobook much, but decided to try again with this book. Interestingly, one of the first points Nicholas Carr points out is "The medium is the message".
So far in the book - the internet has changed how our minds work. We need short bursts of info. "Linear thought process" is becoming a thing of the past.

Update 2 - the next part of the book gets heavy into the brain's wiring and has totally fascinated me. The brain's plasticity allowing remapping of functions and facilitating repeated behavior is obviously going to loop back to how we are interacting with the internet and how we have remapped our brains away from the "Linear Though Process" mentioned before.
