The calumet family is planning to have a party and they are inviting everybody in the village exept the montagues. Juliet will be attending. Benvolio is using this opportunity to get Romeo away from Rosaline. Before Juliet leaves the party, her mother and her nurse recount Juliet's youth. They try to convince her to get married to Paris, but Juliet politely declines and waits. I really enjoy the book.
