the use of dramatic irony within the context of a love triangle will never fail to break my heart. my heart hurts for everyone at the same time. do i want to lodger to come back? maybe? but then nastenka might be with him and not my lovelorn protagonist. thank heavens dostoevsky gets to decide their fate and not me.
