The history associated with the book is what intrigued me to buy it. The famous trial and the book not being released for many years in England was the highlight for me. 17 pages into the book, Lawrence’s writing style is I’d say explicit for 1920s.

For now all you should know is that it’s a book that explores women’s sexuality and rebellion at an unusual time which makes it groundbreaking.
