I’m not sure how to describe this book, I’ve never read anything like it before. I just love the depth to each character, everyone is so well thought out. The grandeur and insanity that comes with interplanetary war and sci-fi is soooo cool. Genuinely cannot wait to finish this and read the next book.

It’s so interesting because as we follow Darrow’s story, we are placed into his mindset. We forget what he forgets and when he is reminded of where he truly comes from and what has been sacrificed it is a jarring reminder for the reader as well. The levels and depth to this series is immense I love it so much.
