This book is amazing it can be confusing at first that frustrated me. As I continued in the book I grew appreciation for the confusion cuz the words that couldn’t be understood at that time had meaning little did I get then. Pax and his pal remind me of me. The girl Pax’s owner meets I would like to meet a girl like that. Love me enough to have me taught abt life what better friend to have then a US soldier.

Almost to the end and I don’t have the sequel to it I am sad about that but enjoying this book thus far. It’s had some sad parts but I absolutely loved the part when Peter met the army soldier Vola loved that. He helped her and Vola helped him can’t wait to eventually get my hands on the sequel.

Confusing at some parts in the very beginning but now it’s all adding up it’s great thus far I hope Peter gets his best friend Pax and both return home I don’t like sadness.
