Sigzil holds the dawnshard and Wit is offworld. Shallan is pregnant? What will happen to Gav? Many cliffhangers!

Dalinar takes on the power of Honor, but then renounces it, possibly restarting the desolations. Honor’s power was willing to be renounced. Szeth faces his past as he destroys the puppets of his family and friends.

Kaladin and Szeth reach oath 5. Azir is lost, and Adolin leads a strike team to capture the throne. There kills Abidi the monarch and Maya arrives with an army of deadeyes. Azir is saved. Jasnah signed a peace treaty with the singers, causing the Shattered Plains to fall to Dalinar. Rlain and Renarin release Mishram, righting and ancient wrong. Shallan kills Mraize and Iyatil. Ishar begins to see reason

Rysn is a Dawnshard, and so is Wit. They cannot be near each other. Navani brings herself and Gav back to Urithiru using a vision of Elhokar’s death. Sigzil and Venli are plotting. Kaladin is completely outmatched by Nale, causing him to appeal to his morals. He plays the flute and uses the Wind. He begs Nale to answer “Why did you become a Herald”. Nale breaks the prison of the law, and his spren leaves.

Shallan makes contact with her mother in the Spiritual Realm. Chana started the Desolations, she tried to be normal and couldn’t due to the insanity of immortality. Szeth started a rebellion in his past. Dalinar breaks Odiums control and finds the Stormfather. There he is thrust into visions of Tanavast, God. Rayse destroyed Ashyn and caused the pilgrimage to Roshar. Makibak was Nale’s father, sound familiar?

Shallan’s mom was Chana, a herald. She’s still alive. The Voice speaking to the Honorbearers and Szeth in Shinovar is an unmade who corrupts spren and humans alike.

Melishi, a Tower bondsmith, betrayed Mishram and removed all forms of power from the singers. Lift rescues Zahel. Odium wishes to debate Jasnah for control of Thaylenah. Venli and the listeners are caught and offered a truce if they join the fused. Gav watches Dalinar beat Elhokar in a vision. Szeth’s quest is revealed to be a test when he finds his sister as an Honorbearer. He is supposed to become a new Herald.

Adolin destroys the Thunderclast and pushes back the Fused assault; at a cost. He has lost one of his legs, as well as Taln and Ash. Moash kills yet another Bridge Four member in Leyten. Sigzil’s death is prophesied in the death rattle. Szeth is one step away from becoming an Honorbearer in the flashbacks. Shallan thinks she can find Mishram, but is interrupted by Dalinar discovering the vision of Honor’s death.

The assault on Thaylenah seems to be fake. Narak four has fallen, leaving one decoy plain. Nale travels with Kaladin and Szeth. Shallan encounters Mraize again, but is unable to finish him off. Notum joins Adolin’s team in Azimir. In his youth, Szeth was sent to train to be an Honorbearer, and his father goes with him again. Zahel is being tortured somewhere and Odium destroys Kharbranth. Mishrim healed the singers

Szeth is ambushed by two more honorblade wielders, one his old master. He kills one and the other falls on his sword to trap Szeth. (Didn’t work). The Chasmfiends can sing ancient songs. Szeth kills and burns the ships of the raiders in his past. This causes outrage. The listeners decide to go to Narak. The assault on Narak begins.
