The dad is in icon, a pedant, and a king. He's truly quite funny. The only sticking point i have with this book currently is that it is often quite impossible to tell which character is speaking. I think this is mostly due to my having an ARC. the clarity issues just need to be addressed, especially when the narrative is jumping back and forth through time.

I have an arc of this book, not sure what it's about just yet, the family dynamic is interesting. I'm not sure any of these people like each other, but they have a routine, and at some point love is just the routines you choose to follow? we'll see
