While I’m enjoying this book a lot, I was having one tiny niggle. It’s comped as Dickens meets Johnathon Strange, and while I haven’t read a lot of Dickens, it wasn’t feeling that “Dickensian”.

It’s an actual adaptation of A Tale of Two Cities.
Take my whole lit degree away.

(While this is nowhere in the advertising material right now, I’m kind of embarrassed that the familiar seeming names didn’t help)
