I’m really enjoying this one! I’m learning so much. It’s wild to think that sweatshop labor is not a modern phenomenon. Before it was practical to use cheap labor abroad, many U.S. industries exploited everyday Americans here in a similar fashion, from the late 1800’s onward.

Christopher Columbus purportedly did some heinous stuff. God help us to not exploit the weak!
