This book provides a very complete background on the early struggles of the Ponca Indian Tribe. It has very useful material in the annotated bibliography of resources. It is written in a very compelling way and traces very carefully the struggle to give all native American peoples full citizenship rights. The coverage is very complete and very thorough.
