Such a great read to kick off my winter vacation. I’m enjoying the descriptive language of the devastated land- my town recently damaged by wildfire has me so appreciative of the trees that remain and she beautifully describes appreciation for the trees that remain in France. Is Anne Morgan based on a real person?
