Do you think? I think something needs to happen for him to feel strong. After all those years gentle healing will take a whole lot of time and he needs to connect to his wolf.

Your last few words are why i think he'll surprise us, maybe even himself. When his wolf comes out, i think that will heal him right along with Stiles' maaaaagic lol
Ok maybe our reasoning is more, we don't want to wait for the long drawn out healing he no doubt needs, we want a magic empowerment so we can get to smutty times ;)
