i find it really interesting how fearful holmes is of moriarty at the beginning and is afraid to die. he also knows how powerful moriarty is since they are on the same level of intellegence; knows more than what watson would know. in the middle, sherlock begins to not seem as anxious about dying, saying that he is okay with dying if it saves london. i love this short story so much.
