His entire rant on guilt is so... deranged. I don't understand how anyone could romanticize this man. He's a monster. Reading the words of a man who died thirty-five-odd years ago and I still feel like he's haunting the book...

'You were leaving, a very dissatisfied man... and I was telling you that you shouldn't be; that you have more information in these months of interviews than anybody will ever have about Ted Bundy. Are you planning to come back tomorrow?"

ted, nobody cares. your word vomit and shitty rationalizations are great at showing how awful you are.

Hugh's rant here perfectly encapsulates the experience of hearing ted talk.

God, he sounds like Scythe Goddard.

Every accusation he makes is a confession. Everything he says is to exonerate himself somehow and share his handiwork.

TB: (abruptly) You're trying to weasel in where there is
nothing to gain. I know about these victims because I've
been accused of killing them... uh, most of them... and so I
read everything I can get my hands on about the various
cases. How in hell do you know all about the victims? How
do I know you weren't there, old buddy?

Physically they were almost all different, but...
HA: But how would you know? Some of them look
similar in the file photos. Other than height and weight
which did vary as much as anything, how could you be so
sure of their differences... unless you were there?

TB: They had a tendency to just fit the general criteria of
being young and fairly attractive (long pause) and alone. Toc
many people have bought this crap that all the girls were
similar-hair about the same color, parted in the middle.
close to same height, blah, blah, blah -but if you look at it,
almost everything
was dissimilar: time, place of
disappearance, physical description... all of it.

victims all were physically similar. You know, long dark
hair, parted in the middle, hoop earrings, et cetera. People
have said that the killings were not random and the supposed
similarities prove that..

Then he admits to wanting to kill for pleasure. Can't keep his own story straight.
