Completed The Magician's Nephew. Loved the story from beginning to end. I found the Queen's arrival to the real world to be very comedic! The children were endearing, and Diggory's development was great. Though I wished they explored how the Queen ended up invading Narnia by the end of the story.

Completed The Horse and his Boy. I felt that the story only got more interesting in the final fall of the story. I also noticed how I'm more invested in the antgonist's perspective than the protagonist. It also seemed like Shasta's background by the end of the story seemed rushed and came out of nowhere. Overall, a solid book (minus the Orientalist vibe it gave, which I understand was a product of time).

Completed The Silver Chair. Loved seeing improvements in Eustace's character, though I wasn't really fond of Jill. Probably my least favourite part of the chronicles so far, but the ending was bittersweet (which I love).

Completed The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Loved the adventures! Loved how the biblical references were becoming less subtle by the end of book. Though I did think it would have been better if Eustace's character development was gradual rather than instantaneous.

Completed Prince Caspian. Still a very light read, but more interesting than The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Found the integration of biblical and colonial symbolism in the story very fascinating.

Completed The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Very quick read. Don't know how the movie was able to elongate it into a 2 hr story, but would love to see it as a musical for some reason.
