I didn't read any of your top ten, but I have added some to my TBR and ordered from the library. Thanks for the suggestions. :)

I haven’t read any of these, but I really enjoyed reading your reviews. I’m adding many of them (mostly non-fiction and your honorable mentions) to my TBR list! I don’t comment much on your posts, but I am always reading your reviews. I appreciate them.

I had a lotttt of favorites this year!

Fiction:

~ Only This Beautiful Moment by Abdi Nazemian
~ Sea Change by Gina Chung

Nonfiction:
~ What It Takes to Heal by Prentis Hemphill
~ How Far the Light Reaches by Sabrina Imbler
~ Abolitionist Intimacies by El Jones

All of these authors are people of color, and many of them are queer!

Currently listening to Evil Eye by Etaf Rum, and it’s always a favorite, and looking forward to Dean Spade’s new book in 2025 Love in a F*cked Up World

Thanks for sharing your favorites and your well wishes for the new year! I've read all of these fiction reads and enjoyed them; I'll look into the nonfiction. :)

Congrats on reading 154 books, that's awesome! I have, sadly, not read any of the books you listed but I will take a look at the summaries and might add any I find interesting to my list.

One of my favourite books this year was definitely "Migrations" by Charlotte McConaghy, she is an amazingly talented author. I am looking forward to her next book which is coming out in 2025.
