Okay, now it's getting really good. Typical Sanderson book for me. Doesn't grip me for 500 pages, then magically becomes super amazing out of nowhere.
Sanderson is the king of buildup. If I didn't know this already I probably would've given up on this one a while ago.

Finally starting to feel a connection with the cast. The pages are moving along nicely now.

Final push. I'm going to finish the rest in two sittings.
It's getting pretty interesting. I figured out what I don't like about this book (so far). I know nothing about the characters' backstories so I'm having a hard time connecting with them.
I can definitely tell I will love this series once I learn more about their stories.

Okay. I'm having a hard time staying interested in this book. I know Sanderson is all about the slow burn and buildup to amazing sequences. There definitely have been several action scenes that were beautifully written. But this book isn't a page-turner for me unfortunately.

I'm still gonna finish the series for sure.
But I'm sad to say I'm not enjoying this book nearly as much as I thought I would.

Man. Sanderson is a total genius when it comes to crafting worlds and writing action scenes.
I'm taking my time with this book and really trying to take it all in. The characters are all so interesting and the plot is great. Can't wait to see where it goes :-)

I like the book so far. But I'm falling asleep every two pages. Not because the book's boring, but because I've been super tired the last few days. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes. Already it seems like a very rich setting. Sanderson is a genius at crafting worlds.
