I personally think this book is OK, or decent. It is extremely descriptive, however uses lots of mountain climber vocab, making it difficult for me to understand fully whats going on. "But i have made it to the summit of Mount Hess in Alaska and, as if on cue, the sun comes out to turn this wonderful day of mine into a perfect one." I chose this because he is filled with nothing but happiness, and it makes me happy

I liked the book. It was extremely descriptive and the way things played out was great. The mountain climber vocab kind of took a toll on the imagery and description because people may not know what it is and i certainly didn't know myself. when i got to the end of the book, i discovered that there is a glossary of all the mtn. climber vocab. the author should have said something at the beginning of the book.
