Ok so far I am enjoying the book more than the series so thats good. It repeats itself a lot which is an interesting choice but so far hasnt gotten annoying.

I didnt love the tv series based on the novel, but it felt like there was a lot of potential so I figured I would give the novel a chance. Also my copy has nowhere near 516 pages but oh well
