I'm a quarter through the book and I'm still waiting for the primary conflict to be something other than sexual tension. There are glimpses of how this might have been as a tv episode, but much of it feels more like a researched and mostly restrained romance fan-fic. Duncan has a lot of aspects, but this wants to spend too much time in the "sexy jerk" version. Lot of "he was rude and the woman thinks he's hot."
