Gnarled, not-quite clawed appendages extend from the end. Ripley’s never taken the time to look at them closely, but as the creature mirrors Ripley’s gesture, he sees that they’re closer to fingers than claws. It’s hard to really tell in the low visibility caused by the machine-made sandstorm, but Ripley thinks he sees its lips pulled back in a smile.

I love this dystopian scifi setting! Bring on the halfsies-cest!
