I finished updating my goodreads for 2024. I'm sorry if I spammed your feeds! 😭 Here's to hoping I keep up with my goodreads in 2025 (very unlikely lol!) 📖 What was your favorite book from 2024?

Dead withinterruptions by José Saramago or The murder of Roger Ackroyd by Ágatha Christie, can't decide!
The book that I think about often after finishing it is Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt♥️
Romantic Comedy by Curtis Sittenfield. Unfortunately it suffers from having a misleading title so a lot of people don't like it but if you can read it without the expectations set by the title, it's great.
Scythe and Remarkably Bright Creatures are both excellent recommendations! I’d add A Fate Inked in Blood to that.
Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson was so beautiful. I loooved Destroy the Day by Brigid Kemmerer (third book of an awesome trilogy). I also discovered Ali Hazelwood this year (picked up my third one today!) and honestly, I think about Bride a lot. More than I should😂
I'm gonna go with The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai, although Shuggie Bain and Cleanness are up there, too!
It's a coinflip between Remarkably Bright Creatures and Project Hail Mary. Such a good year for reading :)
Based on the bracket method, my favorite book of 2024 was A Time of Dread by John Gwynne. Happy New Year!
I actually enjoy a feed spam because I get all these book recs without even having to do research! My favourite book of the year was probably a greek crime/mystery/romance novel (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...) which conveniently was my last read of the year! Loved getting to read more of this genre this year along with my usual reads...
Rurouni Kenshin - so much fun with a little of everything: sword fighting, romance, history, interesting villains, conflicted hero. A perfect manga!
A by the Swedish author Ann-Helén Laestadius called Straff. It’s her second book in her Sapmi series (stand alones) The first one is available in English and is called Stöld (Stolen in the English version)
