Oh wow! This book seems so good towards the end. The writing is so so good, it is crisp, keeps you want to read more to know more, and at the same time, keeps tugging you into your imagination in the heads of the three characters.

So much of the book is about Sam and Saddie, but Marx is so great - he’s not an NPC here. The entire section about his death is terrific - so emotional and yet sensible at the same time.
