Very well informed but clear it’s from a very “British empire” perspective, how the British empire interacted with the evolving geopolitics as opposed to how the entire world did so. I appreciate that if it did so it would be a very very large book. I still, however, think it’s important to recognise the bias and perspective the author wrote from.
