One Dark Windows was an excellent read! It’s been a while since I came across a book featuring magic, and I really appreciated how the author portrayed it—there’s a real cost to using it too much, which adds an intriguing layer to the story. The romance element was just right; it enhanced the plot without overshadowing it. Overall, this book kept me completely engaged, especially with that cliffhanger ending!
