Just finished series 1 and all I can say is “Wow”. While these sermons are certainly not light reading (I’ve found the late 1800s writing style takes a lot of focus to parse), they are densely packed with priceless pearls of wisdom. MacDonald paints a picture of surpassing beauty that has helped me to begin to understand and fall in love with who God is.
