It's getting tiresome... and boring. The author seems to have forgotten that this was a black comedy series. How I miss Horst!
Also, the author doesn't like cats, so I'm starting to not liking him.
This book resembles "Carter and Lovecraft" the most, so it's time to start skimming!

It reminds me so much of "Carter & Lovecraft". I has everything: adventure, drama, cosmic horrors, thrilling action... but it lacks humor. Is too serious and, because of that, too boring I think. And this is not the Johannes Cabal of the first book. Suddenly he understands human nature as if he were a daring conman. That isn't right.
It is not! Very insightful, however :)
