Ugh! I was just about to download after reading friend's reviews and thought it was safe. So after he has sex with heroine the 1st time, he is not celibate? That's a no for me if that's the case, and especially if he is thinking about any of his ex's. Thanks for saving me Kristen! I can't believe that no one mentioned this, especially of our safety friends.

I've read this book like 10 times at least, and I'm very sure this was BEFORE they started sleeping with each other... He's not thinking about it in a favorable way either. It's more of thinking how obsessed he was with the h that he even thought about her with OW. I've also read the extended version of this book, and I got the very same impression. I'm also sure the reviews didn't mention this, because majority of readers understood the same way, I did. I also consider myself very safe reader, too, so I would definitely hate it if it was the other way around... 😊 But guess everyone can interpret things diferently.

To be fair, I am listening to the audiobook so I can get distracted so if you read please let me know. I just like to know every single safety detail and would’ve liked to be prepared for it. I swear they have sex the first time in the conference room and then a different time is up against a window and he said his hookup was before the window incident. Like I said I could be wrong so let me know.

And you’re right Kate, he was unsatisfied with his hookup but I didn’t want to hear the details of him with her. I was hoping he wouldn’t go through with it so when he kept describing “stripping her naked, sucking her tits, putting a condom on and thrusting in, etc” that was too much for me 🤣

Ladies, ok I downloaded the sample of the book and the conference room/window incident are one in the same so I was wrong and the hookup was before they got together.

Anyway, yeah I've also searched for the scene last night in the book, and I get that you're not happy Kristen about the description, although I don't recall the tits, were there the tits?? 😁 The problem might be also different version of this book, apparently the authors wrote something else and then probs copyrighters made them change it...
But if you continue reading - by 48% hitmark, he tells her he didn't sleep with anyone else since they've started. So I highly recommend continuening if the scene was the only thing that bothered you, give it a try. There's some jealousy scenes for both in the future, but nothing unsafe. Putting this into spoiler if you are interested in the details: (view spoiler)[So the parents try to match her with this guy Joel, he sends her flowers to work, and they attend the family dinner all together. Bennett is jealous and mean again and they end up having sex in the bathroom of his parents. The next day she meets friends for a breakfast and sees him with another woman, thinking it's a date (turns out she's a business partner and a friend). He follows her to the bathroom, where again they have sex 😅 and he tells her that he hasn't slept with anyone since they started. Fast forward there's one more scene I recall, where a receptionist in a hotel gives him a key to her room and for a moment he isn't sure how to react and Chloe is pissed about it. Again just a jealousy moment nothing else. In the extended version the whole drama towards the end also involves some OW and her thinking there's more, but in this version there's nothing like that. So bottom line is if you are ok with some unjustified jealousy, it should be safe for you 😊 (hide spoiler)]
