I think highly of Diem’s father. Especially because of this! He definitely knows her and I love that he trained her to take care of herself, especially in battle!

I see that Diem has a lot of learning and growing to do but I do love where she is now. I like that she listened to her father when he talked of war. And I like seeing her very realistic reactions to magic. Especially given their world/circumstances. Henri’s story is very interesting and I’m interested in his character’s progression although I don’t feel… chemistry with him. Ya know?

It’s like seeing friends and family after being months apart! I love this world and I’ve missed it 🥰🥹
