Describing how the relatively healthy diet of Native Ams. was pretty much effed up when U.S. came in, penned up the Natives in reservations, destroyed their food sources, and put them on "gov. cheese" and other not so good surplus food.

Finished section on the cooking of the Pacific Northwest. On raising deer and other wild game for food and cooking cool crawfish. The descriptions, from the WPA era as well as contemporary just reinforce my desire to move up there. All I need is to find a good job, and I'd be on my way.
