I've been thinking about reading this for a while but I've been put off by how long it is and the complaints about it being in need of a good editor. I take it you don't have any worries about those things lol?

It is long, but it's kind of epic, like a journey type story, so much world building and events take place.
Yeah, it's definitely in need of some editing, but I think this was written around 2013, probably independently published by someone in their 20's. It's also pretty groundbreaking for an MM book for that time, so I give it lots of grace. It's got a cult following for a reason. I would say try it. I am enjoying it even more the second time around.
