There are a couple of big similarities between the Death Weavers and To Kill a Mockingbird. In the world of the five kingdoms there is an oppressive government who rules all. In Maycomb the racist white community holds all of the town's decisions. There is also a great deal of character development. Cole and Scout started out as naive children and now at the end of their books they both can see the world's cruelty.

If I had to interview any character in my book I would interview Cole Randolph. I would ask Cole when he planned to return to earth and leave the five kingdoms. Cold would probably respond that he wouldn't leave until he had to taken down the high shaper and the other tyrants of the five kingdoms. I would then ask Cole if he had been able to heal his shaping ability. Cole would respond that his power has been severed

I chose this because it is the fourth book in the five kingdom series. I have read all the previous books in the series and I want to finish the series. I am compelled by this book because it tells the story of people from earth being trapped in another land and trying to get home and save the kingdoms. This book shows that I have become stronger as a reader because the books I'm reading are getting longer and longer
